Lunch, dyed, hard boiled eggs, beer and drinks, Easter bunny cookies with sprinkles, a sunny, flat calm sparkling ocean and a day on the water spent with friends. It just doesn't get any better than that!

Storm Clouds and Potcakes
Watching the dark clouds roll in over the south west tip of Provo on Sunday afternoon
A beautiful Sunday afternoon floating around in Taylor Bay. We watched the very dark clouds gathering and creating a spectacular sky over towards the south west point of the island but nothing to worry about as they appeared to be moving off towards West Caicos.
The water was lovely and warm and look at that backdrop.......spectacular!

Turtle Rock peeking out right off the boat engines. There was a clear gap right over Turtle Rock and you could see the bands of heavy rain.
This little potcake was loving playing in the sand at Taylor Bay.....she's waiting to be adopted????

Another Taylor Bay Sunday
"Groovin" on a sunny Sunday afternoon on Provo......it just doesn't get any better than this!!!
I wish my photos did justice to the true colours of the sand, seas and skies on yet another perfect Sunday afternoon dreamily lazing around at Taylor Bay. We got a late start at about 3 pm and cruised on down to Taylor Bay anchoring in 2 feet of water fairly close to shore. The tide was on it’s way out so ever so often we’d drag the anchor further back.
The boat was out in two feet of water as we lay around in the gently rippling water
As the sun slowly sank lower in the sky, we pulled up anchor and headed towards home. As we came towards the marker buoy off Ocean Point, we were greeted by over a dozen sailing boats anchored out in Sapodilla Bay.
Note the marker buoy in the foreground with a Royal Tern perched ontop of it.

Sapodilla Bay had more boats anchored out than I’ve seen in a long while…………. a beautiful sight to see especially as the sun was starting to set.
At least two dozen boats were gently rocking back and forth out in the bay.

Sea Urchin
The water was calm and clear as you can see and I spotted this sea urchin in the shallows. It made for an interesting photo!

A Favourite Beach
Peeking through the ironshore rocks can make for some interesting photo opportunities. The rocks are pretty sharp so watch yourselves. This one was taken out at a small , tucked away beach that most people never get to see. Heavenly!!
I’m always talking about my favourite beach but if the truth be know…..they are all my favourites as each one comes with specialties. The softest sand, the most brilliant shades of water colour, the most amazing clear water, the most deserted, the best for shells, snorkeling or simply swimming and I could go on and on.
